The New England School Performing Artist Directory
Performing Artists and Programs That Support School Curriculum K - 12

INTERESTED IN BEING "DISCOVERED"?

Presumably, you have taken a look at The New England School Performing Directory. If not, go back to the homepage and take a minute to roam around the site. You will see why so many school performing artists want to be part of this resource and why it is quickly becoming the site on the World Wide Web that school and other enrichment providers turn to for information.

The whole purpose of this directory is to enable enrichment providers to quickly and easily find accurate, up-to-date, information about you and your work.

This directory was created and is maintained by Jim Douglas who knows
  • what is it like to continually try to reach the appropriate school enrichment provider(s)
  • what school enrichment providers need and want when looking for programs
  • how to help people quickly and easily find the information they require via the World Wide Web

Regional sponsors are learning about this resource through a variety of sources: word-of-mouth, publicity announcements, organization newsletters, and the World Wide Web itself. Perhaps most significant is the fact that every school cultural enrichment provider in every New England state will receive a direct mailing prior to the start of the 2006 Fall school year (and follow-ups are planned).

Sounds Great! What Do I Need to Do?

There are only three simple criteria to be met in order to be included in The New England Performing Artist Directory:
  1. Programs must be curriculum-related;
  2. Individuals or groups must fall into the category of performing artists (e.g. dancers, musicians, singers, puppeteers, actors);
  3. Individuals or groups must be available for touring parts or all of New England.
I do not do any booking or receive any commissions. To help defray the costs of maintaining and publicizing this site there is a single, one-time only, fee of $45 per artist listing. Your listing (which you write) will appear in the performer's index and all appropriate discipline and topic category listings. Updates are free.

If you would like to have your information included in The New England School Performing Artist Directory and meet the above criteria, please print out the FORM provided, fill it out, and send it with a check for $45 made payable to "The New England School Performing Artist Directory" to:
